I don't want to jinx it, but......

...I have had two uninterrupted nights of sleep. Last night I even got a whole seven hours straight! It's like I've just won the lottery and got plunked down onto the Champs D'Elysees with an Amex Black card and my pre-baby body, and told to go shopping, just go! (make that my pre-30 body)

Well, maybe it's not that exciting, but I have to tell you, the last time I got seven hours of sleep in a row was prior to May 19, 2009. Seriously, people. This.Is.Huge.

Little-A has found his sleeping groove, and I think it is directly attributable to his eating groove. We have started him on solids, and I am trying to give him a little meal at his high chair every time Big-A and I sit down to eat. And let me tell you, to quote someone fondly, "this guy knows where the groceries go!" He is six months, fresh into solids and can already finish two ice-cube sized portions of pureed carrot or pureed sweet potato. He's not shy on the rice cereal either, let me tell you!!!

Now I know this could and will all change with teething, but for the moment, I would like to revel in my two nights of uninterrupted sleep, and marvel at the concept.
