Barenaked Ladies, Women's Canadian Hockey Team and Donald Sutherland!

Okay, I may be a little jealous.
(thought I had better preface this post right here and now)

The Hubby took the Brother out for his birthday, with two FanZone passes to Molson Canadian Hockey House. And apparently, it was fantastic. And it was nothing to do with the beer they were drinking.

They got in early, and because all the seats were taken at the front, they moved to the back of the tent. Good thing, too, as it seated them side by side with the VIP section and the entire crew (wives and babies included) from the Barenaked Ladies. They were served cold pints of beer from young blond Molson Girls, ate from an extensive food buffet, and sat back to listen to Tom Cochrane sing "Big Leagues" and listen to Donald Sutherland spontaneously take the stage and wax lyrical on why it's good to be a Canadian. We were texting back and forth all night, and while my glass of white wine and Dairy Queen Blizzard didn't come close to matching it, the pictures were Off. The. Hook.

Happy Birthday, Neil!!! It sure sounds like it was a good one!!!
