The Hubby worked through this weekend so I was alone with the Monkeys, and out of sheer necessity, took them to Superstore on a Sunday morning to do our shopping for the week.
Oh. My. God.
Let me rephrase. No, let me sum up. No, you be the judge.
First, Little-A, who is never fussy, was fussy throughout. Big-A continuously tried to whack his brother on the head with various items being placed in the cart. He then alternated between throwing himself in front of our cart, and throwing himself in the line of other peoples' shopping carts, causing more than one individual to gasp and sharply veer away in fear of hitting my little darling.
Big-A punctuated all of this with a "Mommy, I'm HUNGRY". (Cause I never feed the beasts!) Having just come from breakfast, I can understand his need for immediate sustenance. And so, apparently, could the man behind the deli counter who offered us free samples of honey ham. (I *heart* Superstore)
We made it to the veggies, where Big-A tried to impale his brother with stalks of celery, and Little-A took side-swipes at the beautifully piled grouping of oranges by the cart.
The cashier closed her till to help me bag groceries.
The lady bagging groceries beside us turned to her friend, and said:
"There's a special place in heaven for Mothers with boys."
Indeed, Lady, indeed.
